AVOID PAIRING WITH:

• Retinol / Retinoids — if you use retinol, keep it for a different time of day; red light and retinol at the same session can cause irritation
• AHAs / BHAs (glycolic, salicylic acid) — avoid applying before a session; use after if needed
• Vitamin C serums — can be photosensitising; apply after, not before
• Heavy oils before the session — they block conductivity; Apply before.

When in doubt, keep it simple: clear gel before, everything else after.
